The BT7 Solar has an added advantage of automatically waking up the solar powered backup camera when the monitor is powered on. A glance at the status bar provides real-time updates with intuitive icons that display the camera’s battery level, low battery warning and solar panel charging status. With the main screen’s left-side menu, you have the power to control the camera’s activity—switch it off to engage low-power standby mode and conserve energy without missing a beat.

Auto-shutdown Timer for Reversing

The Haloview BT7 Solar featurs a customizable auto-shutdown timer. With a simple tap, the touch screen springs to life, initiating a countdown of either 120 or 240 seconds—the choice is yours. Once your reversing task is complete, the system smartly conserves energy by turning off the display and camera. Unlike standard BTC cameras, this model boasts a 10,000mAh high-capacity built-in battery, complemented by dual magnetic mounts on the base and side. Intelligent Charging Management System

The camera is integrated with an intelligent charging management system that dynamically adjusts the charging current based on solar panel sunlight exposure. This smart feature prevents overcharging and battery damage, thereby extending the battery’s lifespan. In additional, a long press of the power button activates a deep standby mode, minimizing power consumption to such an extent that the 10000mAh battery may not require charging for up to two years. Please note, in this mode, the monitor cannot wake up the camera. To start using the camera again, you’ll need to manually press the power button on the camera.
